Role: Behaviour Mentor

School: Primary School

Location: Portishead

Salary: £54-65 per day

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a behaviour mentor to work 1:1 with students in a mainstream primary. The ideal candidate would be engaging, enthusiastic and have the ability support students academically as well as support student's personal development. In this school a number of students across all key stages need 1:1 support so if you are comfortable across all key stages that would be brilliant.

As a behaviour mentor you will need to have excellent behaviour management and be able to support the students in the classroom, as well as outside of the classroom. This role may also include some general teaching assistant duties such as keeping the classroom clean and tidy and supporting class activities.

You must be able to provide your two most recent professional references and be able to apply for a child workforce DBS if you don't already have one.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
