We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is confident working with children who can present emotional and behavioural challenges to support in a specialist setting in Rotherham.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to make boundaries of behaviour clear in a firm and friendly manner, with a robust, professional, yet sensitive attitude.
Experience of supporting children in a PRU, SEN school or residential setting would be required for this role.
Additional training such as Team Teach would be ideal but is not essential as this training can be provided.
It is vital that you have a calm and empathetic nature with the ability to relate to children that may demonstrate challenging behaviours.
