BEHAVIOUR MENTOR - 121 AND SMALL GROUPS - SHEFFIELD
Do you have experience supporting adults/young people/children to regulate their emotions? We are looking for an excellent role model to work as a Behaviour Mentor in a Sheffield based Sixth Form School.
The school is based in the North of Sheffield and caters for young people between 16 - 18 years. We are looking for someone who can support students to access their work in an environment that they feel comfortable in. You may be working within the classroom, or within a reflection room. Your role will be to support students who are struggling with regulating their emotions, finding the classroom a challenge or suffering from trauma/metal health. The role will be full time, starting as soon as possible, and running until the end of the school year (July 2023).
You do not need prior experience working within a school, but we are looking for someone who is confident and resilient and able to work with pupils identified as expressing challenging behaviours. Additional training such as Team Teach/Thrive/Trauma Informed Schools would be beneficial but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
