Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate behaviour mentor on behalf of an excellent primary school located in Ealing.

This is a full-time position providing support across KS2, including carrying out interventions with children with challenging behaviour. This can include behaviours such as not completing class activities, throwing learning equipment around the classroom and distracting peers from learning in the classroom. The position requires a calm and dedicated member of staff to prioritise the needs of the pupils.

This is the opportunity to work in a good primary school with a experienced senior leadership team, it will be a full time position - offering a varied wage depending on experience.

The ideal candidate:

  • At least 6 months experience supporting challenging behaviour in a classroom based environment
  • Good role model with good command of the English language
  • Youth work experience
  • A degree in psychology or criminology is ideal, but not necessary

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
