Behaviour Mentor Derby

Job description

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be currently working alongside one of our partner SEN schools based in the DE22 area of Derby, who are currently on the look out for a behaviour mentor to work closely alongside pupils within the classroom that have ASD and behaviour issues. The children have displayed some behavioural issues and a lack of focus at times, and requires additional support to help reach their potential.

This is a brilliant opportunity for somebody to be part of a brilliant school and make a real difference! The ideal candidate would be somebody who:

  • Has strong behaviour management skills
  • Is patient, flexible and can be innovative in their approach to teaching
  • Has some experience working with pupils with SEN
  • Is a great communicator and has a great sense of humour

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
