TEAM-TEACH Qualified / Behaviour / Autism Experience
A school in WA8 area of Widnes are looking for an experience Autism LSA. The school is a mainstream primary school who have a KS1 and KS2 autism base within the school.
They currently have a pupil in Year 4 who attends the base that is diagnosed with autism and severe behaviour. The pupil can lash out and is prone to aggressive outbursts.
The school are looking for a teaching assistant who is used to working with pupils with autism and will ideally be TEAM-TEACH trained or equivalent. They are looking for an inspirational LSA who is nurturing but can set boundaries and de-escalate the outburst quickly and effectively to ensure the child gets the best from his education.
