HIGHLY EXPERIENCED BEHAVIOUR/MENTAL HEALTH TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED

• SEMH specialist provision in West Sussex

• Full-time role, starting ASAP

• Temp-perm position

• Extremely generous competitive rates starting at £70+

• Must own a UK driving license and your own vehicle

A newly established SEMH academy based in West Sussex are looking to recruit a very strong SEMH TA who is experienced in working with students with mental health difficulties and behavioural challenges. The provision is for primary boys, all with SEMH needs and an EHCP.

The school have an award winning farm and allotment where the eggs are sold in the local community and fruit and vegetables used in school meals! Furthermore, they have some excellent facilities and recently refurbished classrooms.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience working in an SEMH provision

• A good knowledge, understanding and background of working with young adolescents with SEMH needs - psychology, child development and criminology degrees desirable

• TA qualification desirable

• Team Teach and Thrive Practitioner qualifications desirable

• Excellent references
