Behaviour Buddy Role Available in Ebbw Vale

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a teaching assistant with experience working with challenging behaviour to work at a client school based in Ebbw Vale as a behaviour buddy one to one. The school caters for children with challenging behaviour and moderate to complex learning difficulties. The pupil's age ranges from 11 - 15 years old. You will be asked to support pupils with their every day routine and keep them on task to meet their learning targets of the day. Candidates will be asked to work from 8:30-3:30. You will benefit from ongoing support from both Teaching Personnel and your school, as well as on going professional development. Pay will be based on a sliding scale of £54.00 - £60.00 a day, the exact rate will be based entirely on experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
