Are you confident working on a 1:1 basis?

A school in Slough which caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties are currently looking for learning mentors to join them. Pupils are Secondary aged and have a variety of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition and Specific Learning Disabilities.

As well as working with a personalised curriculum for students, you will help them make short trips out into the community and accompany them on work experience trips.

The school has a high staff to student ratio and are looking for someone who can work closely with individual pupils, often on a 1:1 basis. It will be your role to develop a positive and productive relationship with students but also families and other specialists supporting in the school.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and welfare of children. All candidates applying to jobs through Teaching Personnel must undertake or have undertaken an Enhanced Disclosure via DBS-Full assistance provided (AGY).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
