Behaviour Buddy - Behaviour Specialists Teaching Assistant

Bristol, South Gloucestershire & Bath.

£54 - £65 Per Day

Would you like to support young people who display challenging behaviour?
Do you have previous experience working with children and young people in educational or youth Group settings?
Are you able to engage pupils who are dis-engaged from education?

Teaching Personnel Bristol are seeking individuals to work with students in secondary schools as a "Behaviour Buddy". The roles available are to begin at the start of next term - Monday 25th February. However, the schools will be flexible on start date for the right candidate.

  • Full time & Part time roles available
  • £54-£65 a day (dependant on experience)
  • Working normal school hours: 8.30am -3.30pm

Working as a Behaviour Buddy:

The role of Behaviour Buddy will incorporate delivering short 1:1 interventions to improve behaviour whilst implementing the schools behaviour policy and monitoring progress.

The successful candidate will act as a role model for students to encourage positive behaviour.

The students you will be supporting find it difficult to engage and remain focused throughout their lessons, therefore your role will largely be to keep them on track and aid young peoples learning. Due to the challenging nature of these students, you may also be required to help with diffusing situations and de-escalating behaviour.
