Behaviour Support Assistant for Pupils with Challenging Behaviour in Scarborough, North Yorkshire

Teaching Personnel are the UK's Leading Education Recruitment, working with Pupil Referral Units (PRU) and Special Educational Needs Schools based in North Yorkshire and surrounding areas. I am looking for Behaviour Support Assistants that have been working with children aged 11 - 16 ideally. The various settings we work with provide education to pupils that are unable to attend mainstream school for a number of reasons. This could be due to young learners that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, whilst some students present learning difficulties, autistic traits or ADHD. Therefore, the positions we offer could be quite challenging, yet extremely rewarding.

Ideally Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint staff looking for Full Time and Part Time staff.

As a minimum, we will pay you £9 per hour, with holiday pay accrued as well!

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be outgoing and committed to long term placements
  • Have the ability to build good relationships with others; staff and children alike
  • Have experience in similar settings
