Behaviour Assistant required in Basingstoke

Teaching Personnel are currently Support Assistants to start in September 2018 at a specialist Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Basingstoke. The school caters for individuals aged between 11-16 years old who have been statemented with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs which may include: Anxiety and Self-harm, Disruptive, Antisocial and Uncooperative Behaviour.

About the candidate:

Candidates that are traditionally suited to these roles will be confident or have experience in a number of the following bullet points:

  • Criminology
  • Youth/Community work experience
  • SEN experience
  • Residential support/care worker
  • Sports coaching
  • Youth Offending Services
  • Challenging behaviour within family
  • Mentoring
  • Psychology

About the role (Support Assistant):

  • Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm
  • Monday - Friday
  • Salary: Earning potential of up to £300 per week (£54.00 - £65.00 per day dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (A-C)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
