Behaviour and Attendance Officers - Improving behaviour, attendance and engagement to help pupils to reach their full potential!

Teaching Personnel are seeking behaviour support workers to work in our client schools in the Dorchester area.

  • We have roles available on a full or half-day basis, from one to five days each week
  • You will work alongside key school staff to reduce levels of unauthorised absence and improve levels of attendance and behaviour
  • You will undertake structured and agreed learning activities/learning programmes, taking into consideration pupil learning styles, including small group work
  • You will challenge and motivate pupils, promoting and reinforcing self-esteem alongside providing levels of individual pastoral support to pupils
  • You will contribute to raising achievement by aiming to improve school attendance and providing a specialist service to assist schools in meeting their obligations and targets in relation to school attendance

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
