Job description

Teaching personnel are looking for behaviour mentors to support pupils at a client school in Newport. The pupils you will be supporting will have learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. You will be asked to work either within small groups or on a one to one basis. Candidates will be enthusiastic and show great behaviour management skills. The required time to work will be within 8:30-3:30 SEN experience is desirable but not essential. There are both temporary and permanent roles available along with additional benefits.

The students that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour.

This is a school with excellent supporting staff and a friendly environment. A great location with opportunity for both temporary and permanent roles available for the right candidates. There is a competitive rate of pay to be offered to candidates ranging from £50.44-£60:00 a day.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
