Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic and resilient Support Worker who can work as a Behaviour Mentor in an Accrington School. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils with SEN and SEMH Difficulties, the School caters for all age groups and they are looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to support the more challenging pupils. The School are hoping to appoint a hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic and experienced Support Assistant who is able to manage challenging behaviours.

The School is smaller than average and candidates applying for this role must be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils. The School are looking for a confident, full time, long term member of staff to join their growing and supportive team. 

The candidate will be hard working, enthusiastic and have a background in either, education, youth work, care work or military.

- Negotiable pay rates ~GBP57 - 67 per day 

- Long term position available 

- Rewarding position supporting pupils who have SEMH Difficulties
