Job description

The school in question is a 'good' school with four classes in the whole school. Behaviour of children at the school is excellent and there are high expectations set for the whole school community in order to help children progress to their full potential.

The ideal candidate will:

- Have experience in a Primary school setting; preferably recent experience in Upper Key Stage Two.

- Have a sincere passion for working with and supporting children.

- Have positive behaviour management skills and strategies to help set boundaries for children.

- Be willing to commit to a 5 day a week role.

- Have a good knowledge of the national curriculum.

- The candidate will need to be calm and adaptable, and should be prepared to think creatively in order to engage the pupils.

- An interest in the outdoors would be helpful, as the children work well outside on creative tasks.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
