Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist school in Middlesbrough to recruit a personable and dedicated teaching assistant for a small class group across Key Stages 1 and 2. The role will commence from February half term and will be on a temporary basis, it is likely that the candidate will be offered a full time position if successful, however you will have access to further work opportunities through Teaching Personnel.

The candidate will have a passion for improving life young students personal and social well being, assisting them in this development as well as curriculum based learning and managing challenging behaviour within lesson time. Students have varying levels of autism, the successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of working with SEND. You will mainly be working with students with autism on a one to one basis, supporting within their lessons.

Teaching Personnel can offer teaching assistants up to £65 per day, this role will commence after February half term on a full time basis.
