ASC Specialist Teacher required in North London
ABOUT THE ROLE
A specialist SEN school in North London are looking to recruit teachers with experience working with ASC for September.
Working with an autism class with a group of 6 to 8 students who are in year 7 and 8.
- The curriculum model requires teaching staff to deliver across a range of subject areas
- To have an understanding with working with autistic pupils who have complex needs and present challenging behaviours.
- A welcoming and high achieving primary school with an excellent support network
- The school will also provide training in their curriculum
The successful candidate will join a creative and supportive team of leaders and colleagues with excellent educational standards. The school offers excellent opportunities for CPD. ABOUT THE SCHOOL
You will be joining an Outstanding School with strong leadership and committed staff team.
Pupils are aged between 3 and 19 and make very good progress with access to a broad, balanced and enriched curriculum. They are an accredited National Autistic Society School and have been praised for their creative approach to support children with autism and their parents. The school has won a number of awards including International Schools Award and several awards for horticulture. This is an exciting opportunity in a school providing for children and young people, where change and challenge are key to what they do. Demand for places is high and having already increased their accommodation to admit new referrals they are now progressing plans to open a second school to meet demand.
