EYFS Teaching Assistant supporting an ASC child

September start

Transition onto school contract

£55 - £65 a day

Do you have previous experience supporting Autistic children?

A mainstream Primary School in Salford, M30 are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to their Early Years Foundation Stage team to support a new pupil with Autism (ASC) on a full time basis.

The pupil is a lovely boy. He is non verbal and not aggressive. He needs support, personal care and help integrating in the class. If you have a calm and nurturing nature and have experience with with children with SEN this would be a perfect role for you. The role will be full time 5 days a week.

The School is based in Salford, M30 is easily accessible by local transport links running directly to and from the town centre and surrounding areas. The school has a more than average cohort of pupils with SEN, and as such require additional support staff to work with them to support statemented pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
