Teaching Personnel have started to work very closely with a school in Scunthorpe and we are exciting a rise in day to day and long term bookings. We are looking for talented Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN environment in North Lincolnshire School. This 'Outstanding' School caters for students with a wide range of Special Needs including Autism, MLD, SLD and SEMH. The school caters for secondary age students, however we have found that due to student levels, primary specialists work really well in this setting.

The ideal candidate will be required to take the initiative to hit the ground running whilst in the classroom. The candidates must need should be trained in these various SEN areas and have a desire to work in this environment.

The following training would be advantageous:

-Moving and Handling

-Makaton

-Team Teach

The ideal candidate will have:

-Experience of supporting vulnerable young adults and children

-Excellent behaviour management skills

-A nurturing approach

-Autism Awareness Training
