Autism Specialist Learning Assistant

Job description

If you have experience of working with SEN, more specifically Autism and are looking for a role for September, we here at Teaching Personnel are looking for teaching assistants to work at one of our client schools based in Cardiff. You will mostly be working on a one to one basis, however the school will utilise you throughout the school at times when needed. The role requires you to work between 8:30 - 3:30. Successful candidates will have strong behaviour management skills, teaching assisting experience is not ad necessary as experience of working with Autism. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £54:00-£60.00 a day, this is based in experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
