Autism Support Salford Primary School

A large and growing primary school with state of the art facilities in Salford are looking to recruit a 1:1 ASC support worker to work with three children with ASC in Reception and Year 1 starting in January. The Salford school have just received the funding and Educational Healthcare Plans for the children.

This role requires someone who has experience of working with children with ASC, whether it's on the verbal or non verbal spectrum. This Salford school looking to become a good and outstanding school in the future, this is a great opportunity and place to work. It has a friendly environment and a hard-working ethic. You will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher and SENCO. This is a great opportunity and one which could lead to a school's permanent contract.

The Role:

  • Year 1 boy - Autism - Verbal, Well behaved, intelligent and very receptive. Social skills and communication is a struggle.
  • Reception boys (2) - Complex ASC needs, non-verbal, repetitive, visual learners.
