Our client secondary school located in the central Manchester area is looking to recruit a full time Attendance Manager to start with them as soon as possible. This is a temporary vacancy as a result of their permanent Attendance Manager leaving following the half term break. The school are ideally looking for an experienced Attendance Officer or Manager for approximately two months until the school successfully appoint. The school are open to a temporary to permanent appointment for the right candidate so if you are available and looking for a longer term, more permanent position then apply now and highlight this on your application.

To ensure as smooth a handover as possible, the successful Attendance Manager is required to start as soon as possible.

Highlights of the Attendance Manager position:

  • Pay will Grade 7 on the NJC scale; annual equivalent salary of £24,909
  • Full time Attendance Manager: Term Time Only
  • Hours: 7.30am to 3.00pm with a half hour unpaid lunch break
  • Fulfil the role of Attendance Manager working within the Pastoral team

The role of the Attendance Manager will involve monitoring full school attendance from year 7 to 11. As part of this role, you will monitor, input data and ensure that attendance is at acceptable levels liaising with parents, colleagues and students accordingly. Any relevant or transferable experience is desirable but if you are interested in this position then please still apply as below.

The school is situated close to the local tram stop as well as having 2 large car parks at their disposal.
