Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a large academy in Corby who are looking to recruit a number of 1:1 and small group attainment and progress coaches. Situated in Corby, this is a large mainstream mixed secondary school that is part of the David Ross Education Trust. The trust works in partnership with parents, industry and the community to deliver a world-class education for their students. The academy covers a multitude of co-curricular activities from sport to music, CCF to technology. The school are developing an 'Engage Progress Room' to provide additional support for students with challenging behaviour or require additional educational support.

The ideal candidates for this role will be able to:

• Teach to GCSE in core subject either Maths, English or Science
• Be able to work effectively in specific environment of the Progress and Achieve bases and normal classrooms to support students as required
• Evaluate the work of specific students to identify strengths and weaknesses to inform planning of support and development programmes to accelerate progress
• Plan learning for individuals and small groups to address gaps in understanding based on the PoS / Syllabus
• Provide feedback, both verbal and written to
• Track progress of students through effective setting, marking and feeding back of appropriate assessment work, including question level analysis
• Evaluate and interpret data to advise and guide planning for learning for different individuals and groups
• Meet with teachers and senior leaders to evaluate impact and determine future work programmes

• Appropriate teaching staff to enable smooth transition in the classroom
• Senior leaders to identify impact
• Families to ensure that they are well informed about the support and progress
