Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit fully established teachers to work with a KS2 class at a specialist school based in Newport. The role involves working with pupils who have autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome and epilepsy. You will be required to keep pupils on task to meet their learning aims and objectives. Candidates will be enthusiastic and show great behaviour management skills. The required time to work will be within 8:30-3:30 SEN experience is advantageous but not essential for the role. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £85.00-£100.00 a day. There are both temporary and permanent roles available for the right candidates.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have gained qualified teaching status
  • Have experience working with ASD and SEN
  • Are registered with the education workforce council
  • Can confidently plan a daily routine for support staff within the classroom
  • Are either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) or experienced classroom practitioners

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
