ASC Teaching Assistant required

A large Sheffield Primary school is looking to recruit a ASC Teaching Assistant. The pupils in the class have written the job description themselves and they are looking for the following: - ASC - TA who has autism experience and understands when children are frustrated or angry - Someone who understands that children can say mean things but they don't mean it - Needs to be nice. No meanies - Needs to be fun - Someone who can cope - ASC - TA who will stay and not leave, so a long term commitment is key for this role - Someone who likes Art - Teaches children as individuals - Good understanding of different subjects - Someone calm

  • Rates of pay: £54-£65

This post is 5 days a week until the end of the academic year and could turn into a permanent role if you were interested. All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
