ASC Teaching Assistant Required

A lovely primary school in the Ardwick area of Manchester (M13) is looking for a full time teaching assistant to join their EYFS team on a full time basis starting ASAP. The role will run up until the end of the academic year initially, however, the opportunity for extension may be possible for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be expected to support a Reception child on a 1:1 basis who has suspected ASC. The child shows challenging behaviours and works from a tailored educational plan. To be considered you will have experience supporting children with specific needs and will be required to work closely with the schools SENCO to monitor and assess the childs progression.

This two form entry primary school lies in the heart of the city centre. The school encourages all children to 'enjoy learning' and aims to make its pupils 'resilient, life-long learners.' The school are looking for a friendly, proactive support assistant who is flexible and who works well as part of a team. The school are looking to short list for this position ASAP.
