I am working with a special school in South East London who have two sites – one for primary and one for secondary. They cater mostly for students with Autism but also have classes for students with severe and complex needs. Classes typically have a class teacher and 3 or 4 teaching assistants, with a maximum of 10-12 students in a class.

This school currently have opportunities for staff to work full time. You must be available between the hours of 08:30 and 16:00 on a daily basis, Monday to Friday.

You must meet the following criteria to work through Teaching Personnel:

• Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to complete a new application

• Excellent references from your two most recent employers

• Ability to provide personal care for students

• A proactive attitude to get involved with the students

• Experience of working with children – either in a school setting or similar

• Experience with ASC or PMLD is desirable though not essential

• Immediate availability
