A welsh speaking primary school in Swansea is searching for a teaching assistant with a specialism in Special Education Needs to work on a one to one basis with a pupil on the autistic spectrum. It is essential that the candidate has experience working with pupils with ASC and has a good knowledge of SEN. The role will be long term and you will need to be available from 8:30 - 15:30.

Ideally; the candidate will have carried out training on Autism awareness and is team teach trained. The candidate must also be able to speak fluent Welsh. To be considered for this role you must:

• Be registered with the EWC

• Have a DBS on the Update Service

• Be able to provide two references from recent teaching posts ideally with ASC experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
