Teaching Assistant with KS2 pupil with Autism- Swansea

A large primary school in Swansea is looking for a teaching assistant with a specialism in Special Educational Needs to work in the KS2 department. The selected teaching assistant will be asked to work on a one to one basis with a year 5 pupil with Autism. The pupil displays challenging behaviour and has some communication difficulties therefore experience within SEN is essential. The role will be on a full time basis and will start after half term so trial days so interviews will be held in the weeks counting down to the end of September. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
