Teaching Personnel are currently looking for learning support assistants to work within a special educational needs school . The school caters for students aged 2-19 who have complex special needs that mean they require specialist support for them to achieve their full potential and achieve academically.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide feedback to teachers and other professionals on pupils’ progress in the evaluation of the support programme and noting pupils’ achievements or problems. To provide a link between parents and school

• As required, monitor, record and analyse pupil data eg daily attendance records and class behavioural records

• Liaise with class teachers in devising complimentary learning activities

• Prepare classroom/educational materials and organise supplies of materials. Maintain the learning environment eg classroom and corridor displays

• A good listener and sensitivity to pupils needs

• A sense of responsibility

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
