Teaching Assistant - Stockport

  • Specialist Autism provision - Stockport
  • 11-25 year olds
  • Opportunity for permanent roles

Our partner school situated in Cheadle, Stockport, has expressed the need to expand their SEN team to provide the best support for their pupils. They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced special needs teaching assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

The school is part of a trust and caters specifically for children and young people who have Autism.

Requirements for this position include;

• Experience working with secondary and/or post 16 aged children and young people

• Knowledge of special needs, specifically Autism

• Experience working within specialist settings

• A DBS checked for children and adults (Teaching Personnel can support with this)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
