Teaching Assistant required for specialist school in Bradford

  • Experience supporting pupils with Autism
  • Flexible working hours and pay rates of up to £70 per day
  • Excellent communication skills

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to work with pupils with Autism within a Bradford specialist school.

Successful candidates will have experience supporting pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) on either a 1:1 or small group basis. Additional experience in PECS, Makaton or a Team Teach qualification is also highly desirable.

You will possess excellent communication skills and the patience and understanding of supporting pupils on the Autistic Spectrum to access learning activities.

You will be required to work closely with teaching staff to identify pupil needs and develop action plans to be implemented on a daily basis.
