Are you a graduate, SEN teaching assistant or learning support assistant looking for a stable job with career progression?
An ‘Outstanding’ Special Needs school based in West Ealing are looking for Learning support Assistants and Teaching Assistants with autism experience to start in September 2017. This school is part of the Ealing Primary Teaching School Alliance and provides for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 years diagnosed with complex moderate to severe learning difficulties, including autistic spectrum conditions.
Requirements:
• Must be able to travel to West Ealing/ Castlebar Park area (West London)
• Must be able to work 8:30am – to 4:00pm during school term time on the days that you are available
• Must be confident in supporting children with Maths, English and core subjects
• Team Teach de-escalation training is highly beneficial (offered at a subsidised rate through Teaching Personnel)
• Experience working in a Special Need School is highly sought after
• Experience supporting students with autism across the spectrum and severe learning difficulties
• Knowledge of autism specific visual aids such as PECS, TEACCH, symbols and sensory resources highly beneficial
• Being open to or having experience supporting pupils with personal care/nappy changing
Competitive rate ranging between £55 – 70 per day dependant on Special Needs experience and training (rates can change according to school feedback)!
A valid DBS with Child Only Workforce registered onto the update service is required in order to secure this job.
