Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking a new role?

If so, Teaching Personnel work with a Chorley based SEN School/alternative provision who are seeking a Support Assistant. The School is smaller than average and the pupils in this School often display challenging behaviours. The School caters for pupils with SEMH difficulties, Autism and learning difficulties.

The School is based in Chorley, Lancashire and is accessible via both bus and train! The School has a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the staff and the role will be rewarding. The School require a strong candidate who has excellent behaviour management skills and an understanding of Autism Spectrum Condition.

The role is due to last until the summer if not beyond and the candidate must have experience working with challenging pupils and/or pupils with SEN, including Autism. The role will start on a supply basis initially but there is scope for this to become permanent.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
