Teaching Personnel is unlike other teaching recruitment agencies, in that we offer a fantastic tutoring service for schools to increase pupil attainment. We call this our intervention programme and the successful candidate will help pupils who require that attention with either a 1:1 or small group basis outside of the classroom.

Behavior Support Assistant, London

If you would like to start a career in education but lack the relevant qualifications or experience, this is a perfect opportunity for you to kick-start your career. As a Behavior Buddy, you will be working with small groups providing help and support to children who have behavioral difficulties. We are working alongside one school in particular in Orpington that is looking for a 1:1 'behavior buddy' to support a pupil in year 2 with Autism. This lovely primary school is located in the Orpington area of Bromley, South East London.

Responsibilities will include;

- Working alongside key school staff to reduce levels of unauthorized absence and improve levels of attendance and behavior;

- Motivating and challenging students;

- Promoting and reinforcing by showing enthusiasm and creativity;

- Passing feedback to teachers about children’s development.

The successful candidate will be someone who has a passion for education, loves working with children, and can act as a positive role model. Job Type: Full-time

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
