Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Monthly pay up to £1200

Teaching Personnel are seeking out an autism specialist teaching assistant to provide additional support to an autistic child in a year 1 class. The school are looking for support on a full time basis with a January 29thth start date provisionally pencilled in.

The school is based in the NG6 area (Bulwell) and the length of contract will run up until July 2018 with the potential of the role becoming permanent from September.

The school are looking for somebody to work 1:1 basis with the child to provide support both in and out of class. You will be expected to work 32.5 hours per week

Essential skills that the school require are:

- Experience of working with autistic pupils

- Patience

- Flexibility with reward/behaviour sanctions

- Willingness to work as part of inclusive SEN team

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
