Do you have experience working with students who display varying SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD and challenging behaviour?
Are you looking for a long term position in a primary school where you can grow and develop your existing skills ?
This is perfect for a graduate with some school based experience who now wants to take their career to the next stage and wants to secure a long term position in Hackney.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant at this school you will be working with a number of SEN students and build the skills you need for a successful career in education.
*** Long Term/Interim position
*** Starting after half term
*** Full-Time role, 5 days a week, term time only
*** Up to £65 per day dependant on experience
*** Modern and well equipped primary school
*** Expanding school with permanent employment opportunities
• Working 1:1 and in small group basis with the children who require additional attention to their work
• Working alongside the classroom teacher and SLT to raise attainment of the child
Person Specification
• To be seriously considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role you must have experience working with SEN children
• You need to be able to cope with a range of challenging behaviour and have a proven ability to build effectively relationships with these children.
•Someone who also has a strong academic background and understanding of psychology and student behaviour is also highly desirable as the school want to grow and develop your skills and capabilities with on the job training.
