Learning Support Assistant, Liverpool

  • CACHE Level 2 or 3, EYFS classroom based experience and references from within the last 12 months are essential for this role.
  • Experience supporting pupils with Global Learning Delay and an EYFS is highly sought after for this role.
  • Opportunity to secure a perm position for the right candidate, with supply basis pay of between £8.44 per hour

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a ‘Good’ Liverpool SEN Primary School to assist with staffing changes in the new academic year. The school is specifically looking for an experienced EYFS TA to support a Reception aged pupil, who is currently working at a 2 year old level. This pupil has ASC and SEMH difficulties.

A CACHE Level 2/3, experience working within a EYFS setting, excellent classroom based references within the last 12 months is essential for this role. This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour. The role is to start in May 2017 and run until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to extend further.

Your responsibilities will include:

*To encourage pupil to join in with all activities and to take a full and active part in school life.

*To prepare, modify and adapt resources and learning materials for the pupil as agreed with the class teacher and other professionals.

*To assist in resolving any behavioural, social and emotional difficulties which may arise

*To encourage the pupil to develop a positive self image, and to develop confidence in their abilities and communication with other children
