We are currently looking for an SEN specialist to support a child with Autism on a 1:1 basis in EYFS in Leicester.

Your New Company

Starting September this diverse and friendly primary school require a SEN teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with Autism. This school prides itself on providing exceptional learning support and educational development.

Your new role

As this SEN teaching assistant you will have a caring and patient nature and be willing to be flexible with the schools needs. You will hold a minimum level 2 award in support work in schools. You will be working 1:1 with a child with Autism so recent and valid teaching support experience is key to succeed in this job. Part of your day to day responsibilities will be to implement a range of exciting, creative activities appropriate for children at reception age.

What you will need to succeed

you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to succeed in this job. Have valid experience of working with children with learning difficulties and you will show passion and interest to want to promote the development of the child.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
