1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant in Loftus

  • Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant, Support Worker or recent Psychology Graduate?
  • Experienced working with Key Stage 1 pupils who have Autism and Communication Difficulties?
  • Available for flexible work in and around Loftus within Primary Schools?

Teaching Personnel are seeking a reliable and pro-active Primary Teaching Assistant who can provide flexible one to one support to pupils who have Autism in the Loftus area.

As a 1:1 teaching assistant, you will be supporting the teacher by ensuring the pupil fully understands the instructions of the work and is able to access the curriculum at a suitable level. Being Team Teach trained would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.

If you have a calm approach and able to use your own initiative, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to utilise your skills in a way where you can really make a difference.

Ideally you will have a Teaching Assistant Qualification (or similar) or be a Graduate of Psychology with experience working with pupils with Autism.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
