Behaviour Support Assistant - OL4.

  • 1:1 support for year 4 pupil at RC Lees Oldham Primary School.
  • Transition Start in July – ready for full time in September.
  • Trustworthy, consistent role model with patient personality.

A well known Roman Catholic school based in the area of Lees, Oldham has come to teaching personnel looking to recruit a 1:1 support assistant for a year 4 pupil. This role is to commence September; however the school would like to conduct a transition period this September.

The pupil requiring support has recently be diagonised with autisim meaning at times he can find it extremely difficult to concentrate and communicate his feels in a controlled manner. It will be your role to help him remain on task and use own integrity to take him to sensory room when required. You will need to a consistent figure in their life, meaning that you need to be extremely reliable and trustworthy.

Weekly meeting will be conducted with your line manager who will be the school SENCO. This is where you will discuss progress made and also identify gaps in learning. The School Senco will be at hand everyday to lend a helping hand when needed.

The role:
