Teaching Personnel are working to recruit for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf on a client primary school in the Hulme area of Manchester (M15). The school are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 2 with ASC on a 1:1 basis. The successful applicant will have a positive working attitude and will be looking to develop their career in education. Experience supporting children with ASC would be beneficial but the necessary training will be provided.

The child can display challenging behaviours at times and has a specific behaviour plan in place to help channel challenging situations. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has strong behaviour management techniques and someone who is able to adapt learning to suit the child's individual needs.

This is a 'GOOD' 2 form entry primary school in the Hulme area of Manchester. The school boasts good levels of progression year on year and is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has the ability to work as a positive role model for all children across the school.

To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

  • Have experience working with specific SEN
  • Have recent and relevant experience working with children
  • Be looking for your next full time Teaching Assistant opportunity
