ASC Teacher required- September start- Manchester

Job description

A full time position for a Specialist ASC Teacher to commence in September. The position is for a full time Teacher which begins in September 2018 and runs until the end of the academic year. In order to apply for this position you will have Qualified Teacher Status and experience working with pupils with SEN.

The Setting is a Specialist ASC School which is based in Manchester. The School caters for pupils 4 - 19 and currently has a total of 171 pupils currently enrolled. In order to be considered for this position you must have Qualified Teacher Status and ideally have experience working within a Special Needs School. The School focuses on providing education for pupils with ASC so Teachers who can demonstrate a clear passion for supporting pupils with ASC would be preferable.

If you wish to be considered you should have the following:

- Qualified Teacher Status

- A specialism in working with pupils in ASC (desirable)

- A passion for supporting pupils with ASC

- Experience working with SEN in any capacity

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
