Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of an Ofsted outstanding primary special needs school in Bury who seek to hire a Special Needs teacher on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our partner school situated in the Radcliffe area of Bury has a great reputation and a recent outstanding Ofsted. The position for a special needs teacher will be temporary in the first instance, working in KS2, but the successful teacher will need to be flexible as pupil numbers fluctuate in different classes. The post is full time starting in September.

The Headteacher is looking for a Special Needs teacher with experience teaching in a special needs school or a well qualified teacher of primary with significant SEN teaching experience. The children are currently working between levels P1 to P8 so you must be able to differentiate and adapt lessons accordingly.

Due to the specific needs of the pupils in the this outstanding school, you must -

* Have QTS and experience teaching Special Educational Needs

* Have solid experience of working within a specialist school

* Be familiar with P-levels and NCL

* Be able to communicate non-verbally using PECS

* Ideally be Team-Teach trained

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
