Arts Class Teacher – Oldham

A new state of the art specialist academy, with bright attractive classrooms, onsite retail units, training shops, purpose built ball hall and large indoor soft play centre. The academy supports the learning and social development of children aged between 4 and 19 who are on the autistic spectrum and have significant communication and interaction difficulties.

This specialist academy is recruiting an Arts teacher who can make the education of their pupils their first concern and are responsible for achieving and promoting high standards in work and conduct.

To apply for this position the practitioner will demonstrate excellent specialist teaching skills able to work at level 3 and above in Art. Be responsible for ensuring all pupils achieve and develop high standards of learning and well-being when providing high quality education and care in any area of the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
