An SEN Primary School in Hayes is seeking a teacher to teach a small mixed Yr5/6 class of about 6 - 8 pupils on the autistic spectrum. You will need to have specific experience working with pupils with ASC and a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
The school will consider candidates who have limited SEN or ASD experience, but have the right attitude and want to work wit young people who have autism and special needs. This is also and ideal position for some who has QTS but not much teaching experience as the school offers extensive training and CPD courses.
The role is to start as soon as possible or after Easter and will continue into the new academic year. You will need to have excellent behaviour management strategies and a desire to see children with complex needs and autism succeed.
