Do you have experience working with Autistic children? Do you want to work in primary schools?
Teaching Personnel are currently the leading education recruitment specialists across the UK are looking for an autistic specialist to work on a supply basis in Bedford.
We are seeking people who have experience working with people with ASC who would like to work in a primary school.
The school in question are looking for teaching assistants with ASC experience working with autistic pupils
The successful candidate must drive or be willing to travel and have GCSE's A-C including English and Maths.
Skills Required for our Teaching Assistant Position: * Special Needs Teaching Assistant experience * Must hold a valid DBS certificate (If not then you will need a new DBS) * Experience working with people with ASC and other associated challenging behaviours * A commitment to working with children with special educational needs is essential * You must be able to assist in Personnel Care * Ability to manage confrontation & challenging behaviour * Ability to adapt and respond to children needs and plan accordingly * Must be an energetic and enthusiastic team player * Must have patience * Be proactive * Ideally have good experience working one to one as a teaching assistant. * Work well in a team * Have a positive attitude * Have a passion for working with children with Special Needs
