Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced Teacher of Art to a medium sized secondary school based in Sheffield for a part-time position, 3.5 days per week. The role will involve teaching both KS3 and KS4 whilst working closely with a team of 3 Teaching Assistants. The school are looking to hire immediately for the role as it will be covering a Long Term sickness absence on going until at least the end of the academic year.

Specification:

The school will be looking for a strong, experienced Art Teacher who can offer students a uniquely creative way of learning and a hard-working attitude towards pupil progress. If you can offer experience within the Art department from a mainstream secondary school then this will be a superb opportunity for you to develop both personally and professionally. The department require a dedicated Art Teacher who can work both independently and as part of a cohesive unit.

The Role:

As an Art Teacher at this Secondary School, you will be working within a fantastic department and will find yourself surrounded with experienced colleagues who will provide you with a support network from the very first day you start. Aside from the Teaching side of things, a large part of your role will include liaising with the schools leadership team to discuss pupil progress and also any requirements that you have that can improve the curriculum or the teaching within the department. The Art Department is very well equipped with the latest resources to help you teach effectively, and you will have access to a range of equipment and subject-specialist software to aid you in creating interactive lessons.
