Due to an internal promotion from September 2019, our client school based in Rochdale are seeking to appoint an Art Teacher on a 12 month contract. Due to a strong working relationship with the school, there is potential for the incoming Art Teacher to earn a permanent contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an 'Outstanding' academy in the Rochdale area.

Our client school is based in the Milnrow area of Rochdale situated close to the M60/M62 motorway, and was graded as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted during their latest visit. Since moving to their new state of the art building in 2011, the 1250 students currently enrolled at our client school have access to an excellent education environment with a strong culture for learning. With a positive Progress 8 score of 0.39, the hard work and dedication showed by the staffing team at our partner school proves vital to the students making good progress throughout.

As an Art Teacher at our partner school in the Rochdale area of North Manchester, the successful candidate will be joining a friendly and collaborative department. The school has excellent facilities and the department is also serviced by a full time Art technician. Full departmental responsibilities including planning and assessment will be included within this role, and the ideal candidate will have previous experience of teaching an Art curriculum to both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
